Our Story
Matt and Marie Szymanski purchased their family farm in 1999 from Matt's parents Damon and Shirley. At the time the farm was an active dairy farm. In the early 2000's the farm transitioned from a dairy operation to a cash crop and beef operation.
The farm is now undergoing another transition - from cash crops to raising grass-fed beef, pastured poultry and heritage breed pork products for sale directly to retail customers. Matt's focus is on his career in the paper industry, so his brother Mark serves as the farm's operations manager, bringing his creativity to bear in transitioning the farm to serve customers with high-quality sustainable meat products.
In addition, Matt's son Frank recently joined the team after his service in the US Navy, learning the ropes so he can one day become the fourth generation running the farm! The Szymanski family's goal is to use sustainable farming practices to provide their customers with products that are nutritious, and high quality while regenerating the farm's soil.
